The Day of the Girl concerts are a lifeline for girls and women living through war.
Right now, 612 million women and girls worldwide are living in conflict zones. A staggering 50% increase on a decade ago.
Your support has never been more vital:
• Women and girls suffer 95% of all sexual violence.
• Girls are 2.5 times more likely than boys to be out of school.
• Without menstrual supplies and clean spaces, women and girls face serious health risks and suffer a loss of dignity.
Since 2021, Day of the Girl has raised over £250K for War Child, with some of the UK’s most exciting artists, including Lola Young, Olivia Dean and Bree Runway, lending their voices to support our work protecting, educating, and advocating for the rights of girls and women amidst the turmoil of war.
By taking part you will be supporting War Child’s work to:
• Provide mental health support.
• Create safe spaces to learn and play.
• Promote girls’ and women’s rights in communities.
• Ensure access to health care and legal support.
• Provide job training and financial aid.
Join us for War Child’s Day of the Girl concerts and sing, dance and stand with the girls and women living through conflict. Every ticket gives voice to the silenced and hope to the surviving.
